Former journalist and education correspondent at The Times, Tim has co-authored books on what we should teach in schools, famous people and where they went to school (Old School Ties), and a real-life murder mystery set in his home county of Sussex (Anybody's Nightmare). He was educated at Winchester College and Oxford University where he studied history. 

He is married with four children and six grand-children, and spends some of his time crocheting presents for friends and family, as well as hat bases for the long-running musical The Lion King.

Katarina is an illustrator and designer of children's books who was born and raised in Croatia. She studied graphic design in Pula, and Fine Art at the academies of Bologna and Macerata.  

She moved to the UK in 1998, working as a graphic designer for leading publishers of children's books, and gaining an MA in Children's Book Illustration from ARU in Cambridge. 

Katarina won the 2022 Stratford Salariya Children's Picture Book Prize for her book The Little Hungry Dinosaur.
